According to a recent report by PwC, they anticipate that “global Assets under Management (AuM) will almost double in size by 2025, from $84.9trn in 2016, to $111.2trn by 2020, and then again to $145.4trn by 2025.” Other key findings of the report indicate that active management will continue to play an important part and alternative asset classes will experience huge growth, expected to reach 15 percent of global AuM in 2025.
